Marketing Compliance Policy

Last updated: July 21, 2026

Draft for legal review. This document is a working draft describing how Hamid Focus intends to uphold ethical and regulatory marketing standards across both verticals. It has not been reviewed by a licensed Kenyan advocate, and the Law Firm Systems section in particular should be checked against current Law Society of Kenya practice rules before publishing.

1. Our Commitment

Hamid Focus builds marketing systems for two distinct, regulated-adjacent audiences: Kenyan law firms and Kenyan product-based businesses. This policy sets out the standards we hold ourselves to across both verticals — separate from, but consistent with, our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

This is distinct from the Law Firm Marketing & Compliance page under Law Firm Systems, which explains LSK rules to prospective law firm clients as part of our service description. This page describes our own internal compliance commitments across the whole business.

2. Law Firm Marketing Compliance

All marketing strategy, website copy, and content produced for law firm clients is designed with the Law Society of Kenya’s professional conduct rules in mind. In practice, this means:

  • No advertising claims that are misleading, exaggerated, or guarantee specific case or legal outcomes;
  • No disparagement, direct or implied, of other advocates or law firms;
  • Client confidentiality is preserved absolutely — no client matter is referenced, even anonymised, without explicit written consent;
  • Content maintains the dignity and professionalism expected of the legal profession.

3. Product Business Marketing Compliance

For Businesses, Companies & Production (BCP) clients, our marketing practices are designed to be truthful, substantiated, and non-misleading, consistent with general Kenyan consumer protection principles. In practice, this means:

  • Product claims, pricing, and availability represented in ads or listings reflect the client’s actual inventory and terms;
  • No manipulated or misleading imagery presented as an accurate depiction of a product;
  • Advertising campaigns disclose sponsored or paid content where required by the platform in use.

4. Data & Privacy in Marketing

Any data collected through marketing activity — contact forms, ad campaign leads, WhatsApp inquiries — is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Kenya’s Data Protection Act, 2019. We do not purchase third-party contact lists for cold outreach on behalf of clients.

5. Testimonials & Case Studies

Client results referenced in our marketing — including statistics such as customer interaction volumes — reflect genuine client data. Client names, logos, or specific figures are published only with the client’s explicit permission, and can be withdrawn from public use at the client’s request.

6. Reporting a Concern

If you believe any marketing material produced or published by Hamid Focus does not meet the standards described in this policy, please contact us directly so we can review and address it.
