1. Introduction

Hamid Focus (“we,” “us,” “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal data in accordance with Kenya’s Data Protection Act, 2019 (Cap 411C, Laws of Kenya) and the regulations issued under it. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is handled when you visit our website, contact us, or engage our services.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of personal data:

  • Contact information you provide directly — name, phone number, email address, and business details submitted via our contact form, Brand Questionnaire, WhatsApp, or email;
  • Communication records from calls, WhatsApp messages, and emails exchanged during an inquiry or engagement;
  • Website usage data collected automatically via Google Analytics, including pages visited, general location (city-level), device type, and referral source;
  • Payment-related information necessary to process deposits and invoices, handled via standard Kenyan payment channels.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to inquiries and provide requested services;
  • To deliver, manage, and support Law Firm Growth and BCP Growth engagements;
  • To improve our website and marketing based on aggregate usage patterns;
  • To meet legal and regulatory obligations under Kenyan law.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process personal data on the following bases, consistent with Section 30 of the Data Protection Act, 2019: your consent (for example, submitting a contact form), the necessity of processing to perform a contract with you, and our legitimate business interests in operating and improving our services, balanced against your rights.

5. Data Sharing with Third Parties

We share limited data with the following categories of third-party service providers, each governed by their own privacy policies:

  • Google — Analytics, Search Console, Business Profile, and Merchant Center (where applicable);
  • Meta and other social platforms — where social media management or advertising services are engaged;
  • WhatsApp Business — for direct client communication.

We do not sell personal data to third parties.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, or as required by Kenyan law, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.

7. Your Rights

Under the Data Protection Act, 2019, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you;
  • Request correction of inaccurate data;
  • Request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention requirements;
  • Object to certain types of processing;
  • Request data portability, where technically feasible.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Cookies

Our website may use cookies, primarily through Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use the site. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings at any time.

10. Children’s Privacy

Our services are directed at businesses and professionals, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 18.
